To the delight of the fans, & appearing on stage in his “Mean Joe Green” Steelers jersey, Thi’sl followed up Canon on the Rehab tour.

For as big as Thi’sl is (he towers over me), he is one of the gentlest and humble person I have ever met. He’s quick with a smile and a silly joke and he just has a persona that draws you to him. You just can’t help but like this guy..but from what I’ve learned, this has all been AC (after Christ). BC (before Christ) he was a pretty scarey fella, one of those guys you don’t want to run into in a back alley.
Every show I shoot I am just more and more amazed at the changes God brings about in the lives of others!
Shooters Notebook:
Camera: Nikon D7000
Lenses: Nikon 70-200, Tamron 17-50, Nikon 50
Thi’sl set was a tiny bit easier to cover as he didn’t move quite as fast as Canon. I also discovered that just to the left of stage center there was a hotspot that gave me close to an extra stop of light. I tried to wait for the artist to hit that spot before before clicking the shutter.
There was no photopit to speak of; so I ended up relegated to shooting from the side stage ramps, the soundboard and balcony. I wish I would’ve thought to bring a stool to stand on when shooting from the soundboard. Oh well….. Just keep on learning, right?!
