After a short intermission Michael W. Smith took the stage.. I hesitate to say he was the headliner as both of these artists, in my opinion are more then equals they are.. if I can play on words… just 2Friends (& in my mind legends).

It was such an amazing opportunity to cover this show.. For me it was an honor to cover these greats.. though I’m sure they’d both cringe at the word “greats”.

I grew up listening to Michale and Amy, and talk about a trip down memory lane. They played songs that go back many moons. Back to the time where I walked 5 miles to school, everyday, in the snow, and uphill both ways
The one’s I played over and over again.. wearing out my tapes (cassette tapes that is). stuff like  Rocket Town and Secret Ambition.. man, I love those songs.

And do you have any idea who that is on lead guitar with Smitty? Non other then Stu G from Delirious.. Never heard of Delirious? Look ‘em up. They wrote some of the most popular songs you probably sing in church every Sunday.
